As for my "suggest[ion] that Internet service providers have a duty [sic] restrict infringing traffic on their network," Copysense does not deign to state what, if anything, it finds incorrect in what I actually wrote. completely agree, and look forward to reading the final paper once it is published. 17 U.S.C. 512(i). Internet Radio Royalty Reminders - April 30 is the Last Date to Elect Small Webcaster Agreement and for Broadcasters to Pay Past Fees, and Don't Forget the Recordkeeping Obligations
These rates act as a substitute for the rates set by the 2007 Copyright Royalty Board decision setting Internet radio royalties for the use of sound recordings in the period from 2006-2010. These are not statistics that can be easily gathered in-house by most webcasters.
