Facebook Sues Power.com, Challenges Would-be “Center of the World”
Power.com , a Brazilian start-up company serving as a portal through which people can access all of their favorite social networking sites (including Facebook and MySpace ), hosts 5 million registered users and maintains support from prominent backers. Last week, Facebook filed a complaint against Power.com in the U.S. Vachani.

Report on SAG NY Town Hall Meeting
SAG held a town hall meeting in NY last night to provide information re the TV/theatrical contract. SAGWatch infers, accurately I think, that most people have already voted and would have little reason to attend an informational meeting at this point. Variety reports the turnout was slim—about 100 actors. It’s pro bono.”

SAG Board Meeting Grinds On Into the Night
The SAG National Board meeting, which began about 9:00 a.m. left the site of the meeting, SAG’s LA headquarters at about 2:00 a.m. For portions of the meeting, the Board was in executive session, and National Executive Director Doug Allen was seen walking the lobby. Where things stand now inside the meeting room is unknown.
