ABA Technology Survey on Lawyer Websites
This year, 84% of lawyers said their firms have websites, compared with 85% in 2009, 83% in 2008 and 73% in 2007. TPM blows facts, law in piece on campaign music
Had TPM taken a few minutes to do some reporting (like, say, Politico did back in 2008 ), it would have been forced to point out that the campaign's uses of these songs at rallies was perfectly legal. Talking Points Memo has yet another piece about campaigns' use of music, and the legal troubles that sometimes follow. And so it didn't.

Then I went back to the Copyright Office web site and noticed that their posted version of the Copyright Act is from 2003. And a time-waster for those who do.

IFPI Publishes Digital Music Report for 2008
But the IFPI Digital Music Report for 2008 just came out. The digital music business internationally saw a sixth year of expansion in 2008, growing by an estimated 25 per cent to US$3.7 Digital platforms now account for around 20 per cent of recorded music sales, up from 15 per cent in 2007. Online Video is Booming
The New York Times recently reported that the number of Internet users watching online video reached 135 million in April 2008, up from 132 million in May 2007. What is impressive, however, is that the average viewer kept their eyeballs glued to online video for 228 minutes in April 2008, up from 158 minutes in May 2007.
